Meet Flutterwave, the company changing the face of Payments in Africa

Except you've been making payments the caveman way, you've probably heard of Flutterwave; if not, this article is for you so come with me :-)

Flutterwave is a Payment Technology company with the sole aim of helping Businesses, Banks and Individuals seemlessly provide a smooth payment experiences for their customers. It was Co-founded by Mr. Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and a few other great minds with the vision of putting Africa at the forefront of Digital Payments. Flutterwave is not a competitor to Amplify, Simplepay or the renowned Paystack as even Paystack uses the payment API. It's a payment processor which aggregates payment services from over 70 gateways and places them all under one umbrella

Over the past year, the Payments Processing giant has experienced significant positive changes in operations and it's been a great journey so far. Some of the highlights for the past year includes but not limited to:

- Expansion of certifications and licenses in operating countries which enables the company provide their services with the highest level of security.
- Enhancement of the User Experience of two of the payments processing giant's products
- Receipt of Industry recognition and awards and global expansion of the team
- 550% growth in the Customer base of Rave and key partnerships in the Finance Industry
- Growth of Barter, a product of Flutterwave to about 30,000+ active customers who want the best for their business

The problems solved by Flutterwave is not an achievement to be looked down upon. The company aims to solve the overhead experienced by businesses from customers who'd use their Credit/Debit Cards to pay for a product or service via POS terminals. The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Iyinoluwa Aboyeji also stated that all the team is trying to do is remove the barriers between these payment instruments and channels
